duo: how did 21 street visual came about?
Scabs: it came out of nowhere, i just wanted to film stuff.

duo: what does 21 street visual do?
Scabs: bmx..skate...etc etc web videos.

duo: what type of riders do you like to shoot?
Scabs: i have to say street i guess

duo: what inspires you to shoot?
Scabs: the end product.

duo: what are the tools of your trade?
Scabs: dv camera, tripod and recently a skateboard.

duo: do you feel its hard to shoot bmx? and why bmx not flatland or 24's or trial?
Scabs: not really, its something i grown up with and I'll keep doing it.

duo: what are your preparations before a shoot?
Scabs: make sure the batteries are charged and everything is in working order.

duo: what are your experiences in shooting videos?
Scabs: its hard to say, some riders are shy, stressed out and nervous when it comes to filming. but it pays off at the end for the rider and i get footage! haha

duo: do you think its good/proper to use the tripod for every shoot?
Scabs: i know i have a tendency to use the tripod a lot, i like it because it gives a stable and clear clip.

duo: do you see yourself as a professional videographer?
Scabs: i still have a lot to learn. Nowhere near pro.

duo: what do you think about your recent video bikecheck?

Scabs: i like it i guess it shows that you are a real Singaporean rider and it gives you an idea of what the rider really is plus there's no fake American accents. hahaha

duo: on the scale 1 to 10,rate the video?
Scabs: 5..can be improved

duo:judging from your videos..you like to do spontaneous recording..how do you think its fair to the bmx community/viewers?
Scabs: yeah i think its good to show how riders in the bmx community hanging out, ride together instead of 100% riding its gets too boring

duo: where do you see 21 street visual in 5 years?
Scabs:5 years is a long way. who knows a brand maybe.

duo: what is the purpose of your videos?
Scabs: to show what Singapore's riding scene is. go local i supposed

duo: what do you think the bmx community's opinions on your video?
Scabs: there's lots of mixed opinions, its web videos it comes and goes

duo: do you think your videos are done in a professional manner?
Scabs: no way, its spontaneous, if i feel like filming for an issue i'll do it.

duo: does your videos have a certain sense of bmx fun in them?
Scabs: i hope so. there's good riders, good times, lots of fun!

duo: don't you think it may be embarrassing if you include a video part in the videos despite after several attempts they fall and not pulling off the tricks?
Scabs: i bet everyone knows that video part, I'd like to thank Faat aka Wak first for trying that trick. it was a funny video part that i tried to follow from Dakota Roche part in the Levi's video. hahaha

duo: do you think the riders approve of you shooting them without them knowing?
Scabs: i hope i don't stepped on or offended anyone, no hard feelings.

duo: do you think that your videos could be improved?
Scabs: yeah definitely, its a work in progress. it gets better with every issue.

duo: lastly..why do you scratch alot? hahaha..
Scabs: hmmm stress from filming hahahahaha go figure!
